Eddie, born December 1995
Eddie is a handsome ten-year-old with a smile that could absolutely light up a room. He is a warm, outgoing and likable boy who laughs easily.
A child with a sweet tooth, Eddie admits that his favorite food is, “Candy. Laffy Taffy.” His favorite flavor, he says, is, “the pink kind.”
Eddie is an athletic boy who loves sports. Ask him his favorites and, without hesitation, he will tell you. “Football and basketball,” he shares with a wide, toothy grin. When Eddie plays football with his friends, he prefers playing the position of linebacker.
In addition to playing sports, Eddie likes catching games on the TV, especially if his favorite teams are playing: “For football, the Raiders and basketball, the Phoenix Suns.” Eddie admits that he is a big fan of one Phoenix Sun in particular. “Steve Nash,” he says shaking his head.
Like most boys his age, Eddie enjoys playing video games and listening to music on his stereo in his spare time. And just what is favorite style of music? “Rap,” he shares.
Eddie says that if he won a million dollars, he would buy, “the world.” And while he may not be able to afford the whole world, this young man wouldn’t mind taking in a slice of it. He explains that winning such an amount would give him the opportunity to live in a place he has always wanted to see: “ Madrid, Spain.”
While Eddie admits that he’s not a huge fan of school, there are a couple of great things about his school day. He says that he really enjoys, “lunch and recess.” Recess seems to add a little mid-day pick-me-up to Eddie’s day. He and his friends use this free time to, “play basketball and football.”
Eddie describes himself as “funny (and nice).” He will do well with an understanding and loving family with the same wonderful personality attributes. His ideal family is a two-parent family with older children in the home. His new family should be understanding of his emotional, behavioral and scholastic special needs and able to advocate on his behalf in the school system.
