“ Fourteen year old Kohana and nine year old Jordan are in need of a forever home. Kohana and Jordan share a close and loving sibling bond and would do well in a placement that has the ability to nurture and continue their sibling relationship. Jordan is in the second grade and Kohana is in the sixth grade at school.
Kohana enjoys volleyball, social media, going for walks, card games and watching sporting events. She is a very picky eater, so much so that she will not eat the school lunches because she does not feel they are appetizing. She enjoys volleyball, arts and crafts, going for walks, going to watch soccer games and sports. Kohanna’s favorite treats are Slurpee’s and cookies and cream ice cream. She has hopes and goals of becoming a doctor, when she grows up and attending medical school. Jordan is described as a loveable, charming and energetic young man. Jordan enjoys videogames, playing outside, playing basketball, swimming and jumping on the trampoline. Jordan is very social and makes friends easily.
The best fit family for Kohana would be a family dynamic made up of a mother and father figure, that is able to focus their parental attention to assist her with her emotional trauma. She does best with positive reinforcement and individualized attention. The best fit family for Jordan would also be a two parent home with other children. Jordan will need the patience; love and advocating from a family to ensure that his physical and emotional needs are being met.
