Foster Care in Arizona

Arizona’s foster care system is in a state of crisis. There is a record number children in our state’s foster care system and the trend shows no signs of ending soon. As this crisis continues the need for families to care for and support them in a home setting also increases.

The children who enter foster care have been removed from their homes due to abandonment, abuse or neglect. Once they are in Arizona’s foster care system, they are often scared and confused. They are uncertain of their future, distrusting of adults, and have questions about what is happening to them and why. What these children need most during this time is a stable family setting where they can have a relationship with adults who they can trust to care about them.

With so many children in Arizona who need family relationships while in they are in the system, there is a vital need for additional foster families. Our decades of experience running a variety of foster care programs enables us to gives families the training and resources to have a positive impact on the lives of the children while in the foster care system.
